Swaps and Traps was first revealed on Steam Greenlight on September 27, 2015 under the name "Milky Mike", with a playable demo available on Kongregate. On August 24, 2016, it was officially greenlit. It was first expected to be released in November 2017, but this date was pushed back to January 2018, and then to February.
